Drawing Classes
Each class below meets one hour a week, three weeks a month. My mobile studio goes to the students’ location, and all materials are included.
Beginners
Foundational drawing skills, with an emphasis on line, shape and color.

Tailored for art students who have a foundation in art. The course delves deeper into representation through value, texture, and other elements and principles of art.

From an introduction to more in-depth research methods. The lessons here may complement the students’ AP course.

Lessons are based on the use of the Procreate App available for iPad. A stylus is strongly recommended.

Metal Clay and Handmade Jewelry
This jewelry-making class focuses on handmaking artisan wearable art. Techniques may include beading, wire-wrapping, chain-maille, soldering basics, metal clay, and more, depending on the students’ current skills.
Beginners
Introduction to basics or handling wire, forming with hand tools, familiarizing with basic components of handmade jewelry.

Intermediate
For students who have foundational knowledge and skills of materials, tools and techniques. Delve further into designing jewelry pieces with polymer clay. Learn to form rings, jump rings, ear wires, clasps and more.

Metal Clay
Learn the basics of forming and firing metal clay. Prices may vary depending on supplies cost. Choose from metals: copper, bronze, sterling silver, fine silver. Inquire for more information. Project choices: earrings, rings, pendant, bracelet links.

Student Gallery
Class reschedule policy: We understand emergencies happen unexpectedly, and we will do our reasonable best to accommodate a make-up time in the same month. Contact Rubi and choose an available time in the calendar.
Cancellations with less than 48 hour notice are forfeited. The time and, in some cases, supplies have been set aside for the student, and are not subject to a refund.
